The City of Eunice (which was named after the wife of C.C. Duson, Eunice Pharr Duson) resulted from one man's dream, and had its beginnings only about 100 years ago. On September 12th, 1894 C.C. Cajun Music Hall of Fame and Museum
The Cajun Music Hall of Fame and Museum was created to honor those individuals who contributed to our cultural music and who otherwise may have been forgotten. Located at 300 North 6th Street. Call 318-457-2167 for more information.

Eunice City Park
Relax at this public recreation area on the shores of a man-made lake. Enjoy fishing, boating or just picnicking in a sylvan setting. There are seven shelters, tables, public rest rooms and a small dock. Located past the country club.

Eunice Mardi Gras Celebration

Eunice Museum
Located inside the old train depot, this museum displays the history of local Cajun and American Indian cultures and area railroads and farming. Located at 220 South C. C. Duson Dr. Call 337-457-6540 for more information.

Eunice Prairie Cajun Capital Folklife Festival

Gilton's Lounge
Gilton's is the biggest Zydeco dance hall in the region and possibly in the state, with over 1,500 seats. Located on Rt. 95. Call 318-457-1241 for more information.

Prairie Acadian Cultural Center/Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Pre
Located at 250 W. Park Avenue. Depicts the heritage of the Prairie Acadians, shaped by the region's grasslands, ideal for raising crops and cattle. Rendez Vous des Cajuns
Join in every Saturday night in the Liberty Theater for the Rendez-vous des Cajuns Radio Show. One of the premier weekly events in South Louisiana. Every Saturday night at six, the old Liberty vaudeville theater plays host to this two-hour show featuring Cajun and Zydeco bands, humorists, and cooks reciting their favorite recpies. Shrine of Charlene Richard
Charlene Richard was known as a Cajun saint. Thousands of South Louisiana Catholics make a pilgrimage each year to the grave of this girl who died of leukemia at age twelve in 1959. Located at Rout 1105 behind St. Edward Church.

World Championship Crawfish Etouffee Cook-off
